Medium Mixed Colour Mask

A colourful and striking mask from Ethic & Tropic, made to hang on your wall as a unique piece of art or rest on a piece of furniture.

Rooted in the Shamanic beliefs of the Wounaan and Embera tribes of Central America, the mask or "nemboro" allows the Shaman during ritual to take on the appearance of a spirit from the invisible world. After use it is destroyed, because it remains "charged" and only the Shaman may touch it. Which means no two are ever the same.
