Vase & Mountain

A decorative porcelain tile inspired by the traditional postcard. The Vase & Mountain shows a quiet scene of sun, sea, mountain and a single plant, made up of just a few simple forms.

It evokes the feeling of being away, like a small reminder of somewhere familiar. Something picked up along the way and brought home, to rest on a shelf, hang on a wall, or kept close on a desk.

Each piece is made entirely by hand using terracotta and white porcelain. The design is carved with a knife blade and finished with glossy, lead-free glazes, creating a gentle contrast with the raw clay beneath.
