Patrizia Italiano

Patrizia is an Italian artist living in Sicily, between the sea of the Aeolian islands and the town of Palermo. Filicudi, one of seven islands that make up the Aeolian archipelago, is for her an endless source of inspiration and research as is her love of Palermo.

The 'Vendors of Sicily' collection grew from her love of Palermo. She is particularly drawn to the food markets with their colours, smells, tastes, and sights. Patrizia believes that they recall centuries of culture and history which she wishes to bring to life through all her creations.
