Half Collared King Fisher

The most magnificent little wooden collared king fisher from L'Équipée. Hand-painted with a bright red beak, blue head, and orange painted breast, finished with little brass legs.

Like all animals in creation, each bird is unique, sizes, plumage colour and beak shape vary according to each individual.

In Nairobi's boui-bouis, chick chips are very spicy fries that accompany nyama chomas (barbecue), and flirts worthy of the name. For L'Équipée it is a series of 10 species of birds from the Rift Valley, hand-carved by Nicodemas, an ornithologist sculptor. They proudly contribute to the protection of biodiversity by financially supporting the Nature Kenya association.
