Guinea Fowl

An elegant little wooden guinea fowl by L'Équipée. Carved from jacaranda wood and with recycled brass legs it's spotted body and turquoise head make them a colourful and playful addition to any room.

Like all animals in creation, each bird is unique, sizes, plumage colour and beak shape vary according to each individual.

In Nairobi's boui-bouis, chick chips are very spicy fries that accompany nyama chomas (barbecue), and flirts worthy of the name. For L'Équipée it is a series of 10 species of birds from the Rift Valley, hand-carved by Nicodemas, an ornithologist sculptor. They proudly contribute to the protection of biodiversity by financially supporting the Nature Kenya association.
