Zulu Planter Wicker Large

Honouring African traditions and South African craftsmanship, this large wicker planter - in shades of blue, green, and beige and part of As'Art's Zulu collection - is the result of the delicate braiding of falling telephone wires and copper wires. A form of craftsmanship marking the transition between the use of traditional materials (e.g palm leaves and dried herbs) and industrial ones, with the development of urbanisation, the weaving of the telephone wire.

Since each one is handmade, each one is also completely unique - a wonderful piece of art as it is or put to use as a home for your favourite house plants.
