Makers of jewellery and combs handmade in France. Founded by Julie Lambert Coucot. Julie comes from a family of watchmakers and jewelers established in the North since 1954. Gifted for drawing and sensitive to art, at the age of 15 Julie began her studies in jewellry at Morteau – her father’s place of study – and finished with a DMA at the BOULLE school in Paris. After gaining experience at Van Cleef & Arpels and Dior she opened her own studio - Courcot - in 2013. it is the designer’s deliberate bias to enhance a noble material - the horn - as a natural and noble material. Forgotten since the arrival of plastic and resins, Coucot modernizes this raw material by creating and manufacturing a range of bovine horn jewelry. Leather goods and combs complete the brand’s DNA with accessories that will appeal more to male customers and barbers. Coucot is the promise of a unique, timeless style for quality accessories made in France.
